The Hãtxa Institute is a space dedicated to celebrating, protecting and sharing the cultural richness and ancestral wisdom of the indigenous peoples of the Amazon Rainforest. Our mission is to unite hearts, transcending geographic and cultural borders. Through three inspiring project fronts, we facilitate the entry of artists into the forest, bring knowledge to the world and promote the exchange of knowledge between different peoples. The Indigenous Wisdom Portal is our portal to ancient culture, a source of stories, art and music that transcends time. We work in partnership with other organizations and movements to promote artistic and indigenous communication. The inclusion of indigenous leaders is the essence of our work. We are the connection that unites cultures, generations and the forest with the world.

  • Our mission is simple and profound, to be the guardian of the wisdom and culture of the indigenous peoples of the Amazon Rainforest.

  • We are the bridges that connect our different indigenous lands, weaving bonds that strengthen our communities.

  • Facilitate the transmission of these traditions to future generations, ensuring their continuity.

  • Expand global recognition of the richness of indigenous art, culture and wisdom.

  • We celebrate the creative expression of artists who are inspired by our traditions and the abundance of nature that surrounds us.

  • Deep respect for the knowledge and traditions of indigenous communities.

  • Commitment to environmental preservation and sustainability.

  • Valuing cultural diversity as a human treasure.
